SHERIFF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The primary purpose of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Internship Program is to provide students with an opportunity to integrate academic learning with hands-on experience in law enforcement. The Sheriff’s Office looks to provide internships that offer experiences that will sustain and further develop the skills that students will use, to assume leadership roles in the field of law enforcement. Where applicable, students may be able to apply knowledge acquired in the classroom with practical experience from their internship placement.
This is an unpaid Internship Program designed to offer practical experience and application for college students.
Internship Eligibility Requirements
- The student must provide evidence that they have met the University or College’s criteria for eligibility in the school’s program.
- The student must complete the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Internship Information Sheet, Fulton County Application and NCIC/GCIC History Request.
- The student must complete the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Intern’s Assumptions of Risk and Waiver of Liability.
- Intern will complete a criminal background check and drug test

- Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
