Road Closures

Road Closure and Media Staging Around the Fulton County Courthouse

Atlanta, GA – Starting Monday, August 7, 2023, at 5:00 a.m., through August 26, 2023, one lane of Pryor Street will be open for vehicle traffic. Media trucks currently in place may remain in the designated area behind the bike racks on Pryor.

The two right lanes of Pryor Street between MLK and Mitchell will be parking for media, designated by bike racks. Media parking on Pryor Street will be first come, first served. Overflow media parking will be on Central on the right side of the street.

The courthouse and Fulton County Government Center will still be open to the public, so pedestrian traffic is allowed on Pryor Street.

There will be no public parking allowed anywhere on the perimeter of the courthouse on either side of the street. Vehicle traffic will be allowed on Central, MLK, and Mitchell. The road closure and parking barricades will not affect entrances to parking decks or lots around the courthouse.

This plan is subject to change. We will advise of any changes as soon as we possibly can. Thank you for your cooperation.
