The H.Y.P.E. (Helping Youth Prosper and Evolve) conference is hosted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s office in conjunction with the Sheriff’s Office Chaplaincy program. The youth conference is a day-long event to share information with young people to help them feel empowered to make good choices in their lives. Several influential people are called upon to come and mentor our youth in hopes of planting positive seeds in their minds that will allow them to grow and prosper into talented human beings.
The conference workshops are: Judicial system, Gangs and youth and law enforcement interaction. There is also a special forum for parents. The conference is free to students. The students are also provided with community service hours for actively participating in the event. A host of volunteers and vendors aid in making this event a great success year after year.
